Firemania Silent Fete also cancelled

Firemania Silent Fete was set to take place in Montreal at Club Cinq on September 28, 2019. A statement shared by the event’s organizers has revealed that the 2019 edition will not go as planned.

“Unfortunately, putting this event on in the way that it was envisioned has become impossible, due to circumstances beyond our control,” states Mawga K, one of the promoter of the event. “All promoters involved have agreed that moving forward would be a disservice to fans, and cancellation is in everyone’s best interest.”

Founded initially by Mawga K from Montrealdancehall.com and Firesquad Sound, also in the early years, the event was in alliance with the Caribbean Students’ Society of McGill University (2003-2005), and has become one of the main events annually in Montreal featuring artists like Alison Hinds, Tallpree and djs: Starting From Scratch, DJ Whitebwoy, DJ D-Life, Kevin Crown and many more.

Refunds for Firemania tickets will automatically be issued to the payment method used to purchase them by today September 16, 2019.
