Cyborg for MTL Dub Session (biography)

Cyborg, an established reggae artist based in Toronto, Canada. Born, Keith Sandiford, in Albouystown, Georgetown, Guyana, Keith was strongly influenced from a young age by his father, Ras Sangie an accomplished reggae artist. Cyborg uses his musical talents and gifts to create socially relevant lyrics to inspire youths amidst all of todays adversity and challenges.

Active in the music industry since 2000, releasing his first single “Plan to Make Millions”. Cyborg has come to the reggae music scene with a unique interpretation of reggae and dancehall. Releasing many singles, and mixtapes through which he has received an outpouring of respect and love from fellow artists and fans, and industry professionals. Performing in major shows with such artists as Barrington Levy, Everton Blender, Sizzla, Spragga Benz and many more. Cyborg has traveled to Edmonton, Quebec Ottawa and through out Ontario spreading good music, also travelling to Guyana for the “Guyana Sunsplash and Awards Show”. Cyborg is also very active in many Toronto community movements performing at local shows and community events. From his song “Food Fi Share” Cyborg shows that he will push forward with focus and love for music until he reaches all goals.

With Songs like “Tired of the Negative” with video shot in Mountain View, Kingston, Jamaica. “Hello Happiness” is another video that can be found on Youtube, Cyborg has bridged the gap mastering music and message to uplift and empower the people.

Recently Cyborg has collaborated with Dj Delirious and Alex K, two of Toronto established Dj’s going viral with more than 8.6 million hits on a Facebook Meme, and climbing over 100,000 YouTube hits. The song titled “Wine Up” is now for sale on iTunes, Shazam and other music selling networks. Cyborg can be found working hard in the studio with a passion for music and a drive for success. Cyborg has recently released, Miss You Now You Gone, produced by C.V.E Studios, Jamaica that’s doing good with about 6000 plus views look out for more good music and works 2018.
